Flowers are a true sign of the coming spring and summer, but different kinds of flowers also symbolize something other than this. Some flowers, such as roses are associated with Valentine's Day and love, but there is another meaning behind them. For example, a white rose means purity and a yellow rose symbolizes friendship. Interestingly, multiple flowers mean something beyond what we think.

Amaryllis: dramatic Baby's Breath: festivity

Carnation-pink: gratitude Crocus: foresight

Daisy: innocence Daffodil: chivalry

Geranium: comfort Hibiscus: delicate beauty

Hydrangea: perseverance Iris: inspiration

Ivy: fidelity Jasmine: grace and elegance

Lily-casablanca: celebration Orchid: delicate beauty

Pansy: loving thoughts Sunflower: adoration

Tulip-pink: caring Violet: faithfulness

Zinnia: thoughts of friends Peony: healing

Larkspur: beautiful spirit Apple Blossom: promise

Next time you stop to smell the roses, think what these fragrant flowers really mean.
