Pumpkin

He had a good heart,
he was always kind,
he was always loving,
and in everyone’s mind.
Then one day,
he went outside,
he never came back,
We thought he died.
When he did come home,
one month later,
his legs were limp,
and his eyes were fainter.
A week later,
he couldn’t win,
so rest in peace,
The little cat
named pumpkin.
