New Hampshire is the first state in the nation to vote, so maybe you decided not to bother with following later elections in other states. If that is the case, these are the statistics, along with the order in which states vote, and the days on which they voted this year. Super Tuesday, March 1st this year, is the day when most states have their primaries. Remember to continue looking at this article, because it will be updated regularly.

Elections in the United States are quite different than elections in other countries. Candidates campaign for over a year, and can earn delegates for winning caucus and elections. The candidate who receives the certain number of delegates for the Democrat and the Republican parties then run against each other for president. The candidate who receives the most votes is then president for the next four years, or until they die or are impeached. Then the vice president takes over.
