Mom! I'm Bored!

Winter break is over, and school has started back up again. The only thing that’s keeping you sane is the thought of the weekend. It’s two days of pure bliss. You can relax, catch up on your homework, and sleep in. But, do you ever get bored? Ever have the thought that you don’t have anything to do? And does the thought ever cross your mind to ask your mom or dad? If it does, bad things could come out of that. Your parent could assign you chores, or something worse. So, the question is, what do you do to avoid that “tragic” ending? Below you’ll see a list of things that may interest you.

Outdoor

1.Build a snow fort

2.Go sledding

3.Build a snowman

4.Have a snowball fight

5.Shovel someone's driveway

6.Invite your friends over to play a big game of tug of war

7.Set up a race or obstacle course and race your siblings

8.Go snowshoeing 9.Go skiing/snowboarding/tubing

Indoor

1. Make a gift basket for Mom

2. Re-decorate your room

3.Build a pillow fort

4.Learn to knit or crochet

5. Make up a hilarious story that makes no sense

6. Make a house for an outdoor animal, perhaps a frog or salamander

7. Make some hot cocoa and curl up on the couch with a blanket

8. Watch a movie

9. Convince Dad/Brother to let you give them a makeover

10. Plan an epic sleepover with your friends

11. Invite friends over

12.Learn how to cook

13.Have a family game night with all the board games you own

The next time you're bored don't go calling to your parents, because you know what could happen; so go outside or draw a picture, because its a lot better than having to do chores.
